SedAnal version 6.89: Compressibility, flotation in WDA and correct handling of all types of MWL intensity data.

Please note that when fitting or simulating flotation experiments, both the flotation constant and the density increment must be negative.

From the README_TOO.txt file:
Please read the Change log for versions 6.82, 6.83, 6.84, 6.85, 6.86, 6.87, 6.88 and 6.89 concerning conpressibility and how to combine TYPE1 (*.mwrs) Multiwavelength intensity files. Search the Help index for "intensity" for instructions on how to combine sample and reference intensities if you want absorbance.

Changes and things to note in v6.85 2017-11-16

Preferences now contains a new section, Compressibility. The default compressibility used for simulations has changed, from that for water at 20° C (4.59x10^-11 Ba) to the preference default. Ba stands for dynes/cm^2. Yeah, I'd never heard of it before either, but apparently Ba is a standard cgs unit and stands for bayre = dynes/cm^2.

Note that compressibility previously was only a developer option.

It would be best to enter the compressibility values in the Experiment Info window in the Preprocessor for each cell data file and leave the preferences blank - for now.

The sample and reference intensity columns were reversed in Beckman Optima scan files, compared to XL/A scan files. This has been fixed.

And the sample and reference side of XL-A intensity data are now correctly shown in the dropdown window

If you run into problems, please post a question on the sedanal.org list server, or contact me directly.
